We are seeking a senior SAP Solution Architect with 15+ years of SAP experience to lead end-to-end SAP implementations within the Food & Beverage industry.
The ideal candidate will bring deep functional and technical expertise across core SAP modules, strong client-facing communication skills, and proven experience leading global onsite–offshore delivery models. This role will work closely with executive stakeholders, client business teams, and delivery teams to design, govern, and successfully deliver complex SAP programs from strategy through post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP Architecture & Solution Design
- Own the overall SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with business strategy, industry best practices, and SAP standards.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance SAP solutions tailored to Food & Beverage business processes (manufacturing, quality, inventory, warehousing, order management).
- Define system landscape, deployment models, and technical standards.
2. End-to-End Program Leadership
- Lead full lifecycle SAP implementations including discovery, design, build, test, deployment, and hypercare.
- Provide architectural governance across multiple workstreams and ensure consistent design decisions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
3. Food & Beverage Industry Expertise
- Apply strong domain knowledge in Food & Beverage, including:
- Batch management
- Quality Management (QM) and compliance
- Production Planning (PP) and process manufacturing
- Warehouse and inventory management
- Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay
- Advise clients on SAP best practices specific to regulatory and operational needs in F&B.
4. Onsite–Offshore Delivery Model
- Work effectively with global onsite and offshore teams, providing architectural direction, design reviews, and technical oversight.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between client stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Mentor and guide functional and technical consultants across locations.
5. Integration & Technical Oversight
- Design and oversee SAP and non-SAP integrations using standard SAP integration technologies.
- Ensure technical integrity, performance, and security across all SAP components.
- Review and approve functional designs, technical designs, and configuration decisions.
6. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and executive-level discussions.
- Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations clearly and proactively.
7. Risk, Quality & Governance
- Identify project risks and define mitigation strategies early.
- Enforce SAP best practices, architectural standards, and quality controls.
- Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
8. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Ensure high-quality solution documentation and architecture artifacts.
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions for client teams and internal delivery teams.
- Support long-term sustainability of the SAP solution.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years of SAP experience across architecture, implementation, and consulting
- Proven success leading end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations, preferably Private Cloud
- SAP Expertise: Strong functional knowledge across FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, QMN.
- Deep hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Food & Beverage industry processes is required
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent client-facing and communication skills Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, global teams
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field SAP certifications strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP BTP / SAP Integration Suite
- Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery models
- Prior experience working with US-based enterprise clients
- Preference for candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
